ABOUT THE TEAM
The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division at Anduril is on a dual mission: to engineer high-performance autonomous drones and to produce solid rocket motors at scale. We evolve products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from initial concepts to fully functional systems by collaborating closely with specialized engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors utilizing advanced materials, proprietary formulations, and high-volume production techniques, ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable propulsion systems tailored to diverse mission needs. Our team seeks passionate software and hardware engineers eager to contribute to a formidable portfolio, ranging from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors, as we develop robust autonomous robotics and propulsion solutions that excel in the most challenging operational environments.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Lead Robotics Software Engineer within the TRS team, you will spearhead the development of state-of-the-art autonomous systems. You will confront a variety of challenges in autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and networking, making pivotal engineering decisions that directly influence mission success. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that Anduril’s products operate cohesively to achieve vital objectives. You will innovate solutions for complex robotics challenges, navigate practical engineering trade-offs alongside mission-critical requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate software with hardware systems. Engaging throughout the entire product lifecycle—from conception to deployment—you will quickly prototype and refine software solutions.
