Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Security Software Engineer to uphold the security and integrity of systems and data within both commercial and Department of Defense (DoD) environments. This hands-on role will involve designing and managing secure systems, closely collaborating with software teams, and safeguarding vital flight safety technologies while adhering to relevant security standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deploy secure architectures across applications, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.

  • Safeguard sensitive data through robust access management, encryption, and secure data handling practices.

  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security vulnerabilities through assessments, penetration testing, and comprehensive security reviews.

  • Lead incident response initiatives, including detection, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.

  • Incorporate security best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by collaborating with software engineering teams.

  • Establish and manage security monitoring and logging systems to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
