Proven experience leading a distributed or remote security team with an emphasis on collaboration and accountability. Strong investigative mindset with meticulous attention to detail and perseverance in complex security situations. Hands-on proficiency in cyber incident response and digital forensics. Ability to gather, correlate, and communicate technical logs effectively to non-technical stakeholders including executives, legal, or HR teams. Expertise with SIEM tools such as Splunk and ELK Stack. Solid understanding of endpoint protection, EDR, IDS, DLP, and forensic tools. Basic skills in malware analysis and script de-obfuscation utilizing tools like CyberChef or automated sandboxes. Possession of relevant cybersecurity or incident response certifications.

Join Ubisoft Montreal as a Security Team Lead, where you will spearhead our Security Operations Center (SOC) and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) teams within the Security Risk Management division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee incident response strategies, enhance security monitoring capabilities, and ensure seamless collaboration across various teams and leadership levels. Your leadership will empower a distributed team of security analysts by merging technical expertise with strategic vision and effective people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the incident response and internal investigations throughout their lifecycle, acting as the primary coordination point.
  • Facilitate Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) operations in conjunction with security teams, leadership, and external entities as necessary.
  • Collect and analyze security logs from diverse sources, delivering precise and actionable reports to stakeholders.
  • Shape and refine the team's vision to align with the organization's strategy for incident detection and response.
  • Oversee team capacity and prioritize tasks to optimize resource utilization and ensure prompt incident resolution.
  • Act as the representative for the SOC and DFIR teams with internal partners across Security Operations and Security Risk Management.
  • Cultivate a culture of trust, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Encourage team development by identifying skill gaps, forecasting future needs, and recommending relevant training opportunities.
