Role Overview

Guidepost Montessori seeks a Lead Children’s House Guide to nurture curiosity and independence in children ages 3–6. This role centers on creating a welcoming, well-prepared Montessori classroom where each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth is supported through observation, personalized lessons, and respectful guidance.

What You Will Do

  • Observe each child closely to understand and support their physical, intellectual, and emotional development.
  • Prepare and maintain an organized, inviting classroom that encourages concentration and independence.
  • Support children as they build self-confidence and learn to do things for themselves.
  • Present individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, math, and other subjects.
  • Develop strong, respectful relationships with children and their families.
  • Communicate and collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth.
  • Lead the classroom with warmth, professionalism, and purpose.
