Key ResponsibilitiesPower Origination & TransactionsDrive the origination of wholesale power supply opportunities across diverse markets, including long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), tolling agreements, hedging structures, and hybrid supply models. Identify and negotiate power transactions with IPPs, utilities, developers, and other stakeholders. Oversee commercial negotiations, term sheet development, and contract structuring in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and other internal teams. Assess market opportunities and dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.

Role Overview

The Power Origination Lead will take charge of originating, structuring, and executing wholesale power supply agreements aligned with the company’s long-term energy and growth strategies. This position is pivotal in sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing complex power transactions across both regulated and deregulated markets, particularly through partnerships with independent power producers (IPPs), developers, utilities, and financial entities.

This senior, client-facing role demands extensive industry connections, keen commercial insight, and the ability to lead intricate transactions from inception to completion.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 25% for client meetings, company events, and site visits.

Location: Denver, CO or Seattle, WA (Hybrid role: 3 days in-office)

Compensation: $165,000 - $185,000 (Bonus potential)
