Role overview

The Lead Implementation Consultant takes a central role in delivering value to customers by guiding the implementation of OpenGov’s solutions. This position requires deep product knowledge, experience with public sector operations, and the ability to develop practical solutions for complex challenges. The role involves managing implementation projects, mentoring teammates, and contributing to delivery operations, sales scoping, and product development. Building strong cross-functional relationships is key to achieving both customer and organizational goals.

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end implementation projects for new and existing clients, including gathering requirements, configuring the platform, and providing training.
  • Serve as the main technical advisor for clients, ensuring communication stays clear and objectives are met.
  • Guide government officials through the implementation process and support them as they adopt OpenGov solutions.
  • Assess customer needs and challenges, working with teams across OpenGov to design solutions that improve client workflows.
  • Develop specialized knowledge of government processes in different states to address a variety of client requirements with creative approaches.
