About the job

Waymo is pioneering the future of mobility with its cutting-edge autonomous driving technology, aiming to be the world's most trusted driver. Originating from the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has dedicated its efforts to creating the Waymo Driver—The World’s Most Experienced Driver™—to enhance mobility access and significantly reduce traffic-related fatalities. The Waymo Driver has successfully powered over ten million rider-only trips, backed by over 100 million miles of autonomous driving on public roads and extensive simulations across more than 15 U. S. states.

Waymo Operations is committed to delivering the Waymo Driver worldwide. Our global team is focused on building and scaling the world’s first and leading autonomous fleet and operational platform. From sourcing components to managing end-user relationships, we create and deliver value for Waymo through the structured deployment of the Waymo Driver. Our culture promotes collaboration and celebration, valuing the unique backgrounds and perspectives of all team members while encouraging the sharing of innovative ideas to enhance our service to communities.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage the evolution of Waymo's global B2B partner support model, providing exceptional customer support to fleet operator companies managing Waymo autonomous vehicles in commercial operations, as well as overseeing partner-led car validation testing for new hardware and software integrations.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive support strategy, aligning key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving execution with both vendors and internal teams to surpass these KPIs. This involves analyzing performance metrics, identifying process improvements, leveraging optimal technical solutions, and collaborating with Waymo’s engineering teams to influence tool enhancements.

  • Innovate and advance the program to ensure scalability alongside Waymo and our partner network, adapting to new business models. This requires collaboration with our partner management team and direct engagement with partners to understand their operational workflows and challenges. The role includes domestic and international travel to partner support locations to assess operations and prepare for growth in Waymo partner programs.
