The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited institution. A minimum of 8-12 years of relevant work experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience in leading large design engineering teams focused on Grid Substation design within a global consultancy setting is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge in HV Plant Design for large EHV Grid Substations is essential. Experience working with Grid Utilities (e.g., National Grid, Transgrid, Powergrid) is highly sought after. Familiarity with creating Substation Protection and Control Scheme drawings, Relay Coordination and Settings, Panel GA drawings, Substation SCADA, and communication protocols is advantageous. Exposure to international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian Standards, and codes specific to the Middle East region) is preferred.

  • Act as a senior technical resource and advisor for the engineering team.
  • Provide specialized technical input for studies and design in your area of expertise.
  • Develop study and design procedures to ensure high-quality, cost-effective work.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
  • Create construction cost estimates and evaluate technical efforts for various projects.
  • Leverage your expertise across all phases of the PS&E package.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
  • Prepare technical specifications for project deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of project engineering budgets and schedules to meet expectations.
