This role involves translating mission requirements into precise performance specifications, managing the technical interface with suppliers, leading verification and testing campaigns, and ensuring seamless data integration with core mission systems.Daily ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day system engineering and integration of the airborne EO/IR targeting system, from requirements definition to flight testing and operational deployment.Convert mission needs into specific performance requirements covering detection, tracking, and identification capabilities such as ranges, fields of view, stabilization, tracking accuracy, and environmental limits.Define and maintain sensor operational modes and concepts of operations across various mission phases, including wide-area search, cueing, target tracking, identification, geo-pointing, and post-strike assessments.
