We are currently in search of a Lead Electrical Prototyping Inspection Technician to operate within a dynamic engineering environment. You will collaborate closely with multi-disciplined design teams across various projects to transform design concepts into reality, providing rapid engineering, fabrication, and prototyping solutions throughout the product lifecycle.

Please note that all applicants must be U. S. Citizens and possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance due to the sensitive nature of the project.

This position is on-site, requiring candidates to be located in Tucson, AZ, or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and inspection of complex prototype electrical assemblies, ensuring compliance with workmanship standards.
  • Utilize moderate to extensive experience to interpret technical drawings, schematics, 3D models, written notes, and specifications.
  • Modify methods and procedures to effectively test, inspect, and troubleshoot new hardware.
  • Employ advanced skills to evaluate and inspect intricate prototype electrical assemblies.
  • Participate in electrical/mechanical engineering drawing peer reviews to validate engineering design specifications for the development of producible prototypes.
  • Evaluate complex designs to guarantee producibility, maintainability, safety, and reliability.
  • Document and communicate any discrepancies or concerns identified during testing and inspection to clients, collaborating on design enhancements.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
