Job Responsibilities Acting as the Firm’s representative in all communications with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members. Creating fundamental design concepts under the guidance of senior engineers and designers. Developing specifications, system narratives, and layouts for a variety of projects and sizes. Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. Overseeing the preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions. Maintaining coordination with interdisciplinary teams and consultants. Managing correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, and owners. Supervising construction administrative tasks, including field reports, RFI responses, and processing bulletins and addenda. Conducting periodic and comprehensive evaluations of team members. Engaging with and contributing to the Technical Leadership Committee of the business unit. Assisting the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with technical training and staff mentoring.
