About the Role
As the Salesforce Competency Lead and Delivery Lead, you will be instrumental in driving strategic delivery and enhancing our Salesforce practice. This position is perfect for an individual with extensive Salesforce technical knowledge, robust delivery experience, and a passion for advancing Salesforce capabilities in various sectors, including public service, telecommunications, financial services, and healthcare.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives encompassing CRM, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Act as the technical and delivery expert, steering architectural choices, implementation best practices, and stakeholder engagement.
- Foster internal Salesforce expertise through mentoring, knowledge sharing, asset creation, and pre-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Leadership
- Oversee Salesforce project delivery, ensuring effective scope management, adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
- Direct the technical design and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including integrations, data models, automation (flows, Apex), and configurations.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align requirements with scalable Salesforce architecture.
- Manage the delivery of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions, particularly focusing on customer service transformation initiatives (e.g., case management, omni-channel, Agent Workspace).
- Regularly monitor project status, conduct retrospectives, assess risks, and proactively handle escalations.
2. Technical Competency Development
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Salesforce developers, consultants, and architects within the practice.
- Create and maintain reusable templates, accelerators, and best practices to enhance delivery consistency and efficiency.
- Lead internal capability enhancement initiatives, including skills development plans, training sessions, and certification roadmaps.
- Advocate for the assessment and integration of emerging Salesforce innovations such as Einstein AI, Flow Orchestration, Slack integration, and Agentforce.
3. Pre-Sales and Advisory Support
- Partner with sales and bid teams to deliver technical advisory and solution design for Salesforce opportunities.
- Draft and review technical proposals, solution architectures, estimation models, and RFP submissions.
- Articulate value propositions and technical strategies to clients during pre-sales discussions.
- Engage in client workshops and discovery sessions to outline solution blueprints and transformation roadmaps.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish strong relationships with internal business leaders, external clients, and technology partners (Salesforce, ISVs).
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
