Exciting Opportunity for a Civil Site Development Project Engineer II

We have a thrilling career opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Site Development team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in land development projects and a strong understanding of plans developed in compliance with Metro Nashville and surrounding county development standards.

Location

This position will require reporting to our Charlotte office three days a week.

Your Impact
  • Develop and implement project work plans
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff members
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the division and collaborate on regional growth strategies
  • Engage with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders on projects
  • Represent Benesch at industry and professional events
What You Need to Succeed
  • At least 6 years of diverse and progressive experience in land development
  • Current PE license in North Carolina
  • B. S. Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience collaborating with public agencies, private organizations, and municipalities
  • Proven track record in developing plans, specifications, and submissions according to regulatory standards
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with a history of adhering to design budgets and schedules
  • Capability to work independently and produce thorough task deliverables
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software
