Key Account Director - Defence

The Role
In the capacity of Key Account Director for Defence, you will spearhead initiatives within this critical sector, engaging with C-suite executives to deliver nuanced treasury and hedging solutions. Recognizing the Defence industry's long-term cycles, substantial capital investments, and complex global supply chains, your strategy must reflect this landscape. You will not only achieve targets but also serve as a mentor within our London office, exemplifying excellence and setting the benchmark for how Ebury leads the market.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Origination: Identify and secure Tier-1 prospects within the Defence and Aerospace sectors.
- Solution Architecting: Move beyond standard transactions to sell intricate FX hedging strategies, cash management, and trade finance solutions tailored to long-term defence contracts.
- C-Suite Navigation: Cultivate and utilize high-level relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors, grasping their unique budgeting and risk profiles.
- Sector Advocacy: Serve as the internal "Defence Expert," providing insights to product teams to ensure Ebury's roadmap remains top-tier for this sector.
- Excellence in Execution: Sustain a meticulous pipeline via Salesforce, fostering a culture of data-driven sales and superior relationship management.
