Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience managing Linux systems, including package installation, user management, service control, and familiarity with system logs; comprehending TCP/IP networking, default gateways, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Experience in installing and configuring Linux systems, covering hardware, networking, kernel, and applications. Knowledge of Debian/Ubuntu is advantageous. Basic understanding of configuration management tools, especially SaltStack; familiarity with Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or CFEngine is a plus. Demonstrated programming experience, capable of building working software and articulating design decisions effectively. Basic proficiency in shell (bash) scripting. Familiarity with JIRA. Strong organizational and communication skills across different teams. Experience with production systems and some cloud experience in AWS or GCP is preferred but not mandatory.
