About the job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Scheduler to join our dynamic team at pm2cm in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will support our scheduling team in maintaining program schedules and coordinating inputs from various Facilities teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in updating program schedules while collaborating with Facilities teams to gather necessary inputs.
  • Analyze schedules to ensure proper application of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports, ensuring data integrity.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) on Primavera P6 schedules and validate logic ties to ensure compliance with scheduling guidelines across various project types.
  • Review contractors’ schedule submissions to confirm alignment with contract scope and terms.
  • Interpret drawings to ascertain whether work is within or outside the scope, understanding contract terms to evaluate the validity of compensable or non-compensable time extensions.
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses.
  • Support the scheduling team in reporting on project progress as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess at least three (3) years of full-time professional experience in scheduling, preferably with an Owner or General Contractor, and ideally having worked on educational facilities or public works projects.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Primavera 8.1 or higher and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at building productive relationships with project teams and departmental staff.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
