Your Team
Join our Finance & ERP Engineering team, a vital group responsible for constructing and maintaining the SAP infrastructure that drives SumUp’s financial, logistics, and compliance functions across various markets.
This team is integral to some of SumUp’s most significant initiatives, including electronic invoicing across EU countries, field sales enablement, and automation of accounting and tax processes to support SumUp’s readiness for an IPO.
As a Junior SAP Developer, you'll collaborate closely with seasoned SAP developers, functional experts, and business stakeholders. You will be trained to understand SumUp’s SAP landscape thoroughly, contribute to real production systems, and progressively enhance your technical ownership while ensuring that mission-critical finance systems operate seamlessly.

What You’ll Do
Learning & Training (first months)
- Engage in hands-on onboarding into SumUp’s SAP landscape (S/4HANA, Fiori, CPI, BTP)
- Understand our clean code principles, development standards, and delivery practices
- Observe senior developers to grasp business processes in finance and logistics
Developing & Contributing
- Develop and maintain SAP programs, reports, and interfaces with guidance
- Assist in testing, debugging, and quality assurance of SAP applications
- Contribute to building and enhancing SAP Fiori applications
- Work on integrations with other systems (e.g., Kafka, Snowflake, Salesforce)
- Document development work clearly and consistently

- Take ownership of small projects and contribute to larger initiatives
