ResponsibilitiesDesign and operate power electronics test benchesConduct functional, performance, and stress testing on motor drives and power products (AC/DC, DC/AC, DC/DC)Perform laboratory measurements to confirm design performance—voltage, current, power, efficiency, switching waveforms, thermal characteristics, and EMIAssist Manufacturing and Test & Integration teams with hardware troubleshootingDiagnose failures in field equipment and perform root cause analysisCreate and implement test plans and proceduresDocument findings, failures, and corrective measuresMaintain lab equipment and uphold safe testing practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldCoursework or hands-on experience in power electronicsKnowledge of basic power electronic convertersAbility to read and interpret schematics and datasheetsFamiliarity with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, electronic loadsUnderstanding of electrical safety for high-voltage systemsStrong troubleshooting and analytical abilitiesBasic knowledge of PCB design and layoutPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience with motor drives in a laboratory environmentUnderstanding of motor drive control theoryLab experience with low-voltage power systems (up to 1000V)Internship or co-op experience in hardware testingSoldering skills (passives, basic ICs)Professional PCB design experience using AltiumExperience with NI LabVIEW
