About the job

Hutch is seeking a Junior People Team Business Partner to join its London studio. This position suits those with experience as a People Team Advisor or Manager who want to move into a Business Partner role, as well as early-career Business Partners looking to grow. The role offers hands-on involvement with the full employee lifecycle in a creative, data-driven mobile games studio.

What you will do

  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, engagement, well-being, and development conversations.
  • Deliver People Team projects that strengthen performance, engagement, talent development, and company culture.
  • Administer employee benefits, including pensions, healthcare, and life assurance.
  • Support and implement Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives through the EDI/Social Responsibility Team.
  • Facilitate onboarding, probation, pay reviews, promotions, and exits.
  • Coordinate learning and development activities, such as appraisals and training sessions.
  • Manage maternity and paternity leave processes.
  • Analyze engagement survey results and contribute to action planning.
  • Use people data and insights to inform decisions and identify trends.
  • Support change initiatives and help embed new processes across teams.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
