Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Develop robotics modules within ROS1 and ROS2 (nodes, launch systems, lifecycle basics). Enhance outdoor and marine localization pipelines (GNSS RTK, IMU fusion, LiDAR odometry). Assist in the integration and testing of Nav2, planners, controllers, and Behavior Trees. Create and maintain C++14/17 and Python modules. Support URDF/Xacro modeling and simulation using Gazebo/Ignition. Contribute to sensor and driver integrations (LiDAR, IMU, cameras, motor controllers). Utilize Docker-based development workflows and Git for version control. Participate in field testing of robotic systems. Debug issues under guidance and analyze logs for system performance. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.1–3 years of relevant experience, including internships, research projects, or personal robotics initiatives. Familiarity with ROS1 or ROS2.Proficiency in C++ and/or Python programming. Basic knowledge of localization, odometry, and sensor fusion principles. Experience with Linux and Git. A proactive problem solver with a strong desire to learn. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Nav2 or the ROS navigation stack. Involvement in SLAM projects. Hands-on experience with outdoor or mobile robots (academic or hobbyist projects). Familiarity with Docker.
