Qualifications
Your Responsibilities:Monitor system availability and promptly respond to alerts. Assist with the automation of system configurations to enhance efficiency. Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and parallel file system issues. Address user support tickets with timely and effective solutions. Contribute to the documentation of systems and processes. Your Profile:Proficient in Linux administration, particularly with RHEL and its derivatives. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls. Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl for automation tasks. Familiarity with configuration management tools, such as Ansible. Exposure to monitoring tools including Nagios, Ganglia, Prometheus, and Grafana. Experience with ticketing and project management systems, e.g., Atlassian JIRA, Redmine. Fluency in Greek and English. Preferred Qualifications:Basic understanding of HPC concepts including parallel computing and job scheduling. Familiarity with job schedulers like SLURM or Torque for managing computational workloads.
