The Junior Critical Facilities Technician (JCFT) plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of data center facilities throughout the year. This position emphasizes a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in operational excellence by strictly following company standards and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for ongoing learning and development in the technical field.
 
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the operation and maintenance of both critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
· Collaborate with a dedicated team of Critical Facilities Technicians to achieve total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing operational risks.
· Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within data halls to ensure optimal performance.
· Leverage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to effectively manage all planned and unplanned data center work.
· Perform preventive maintenance on data center electrical and mechanical equipment under supervision.
· Participate in the development, revision, and execution of approximately 200 operational procedures and preventive maintenance inspections, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
· Support the formulation of Data Center standards and policies as required.
· Quickly assist in resolving electrical and mechanical issues within the Data Center while minimizing risks and effectively communicating with the appropriate chain of command.
· Help troubleshoot and document technical issues, escalating as necessary to ensure problem resolution.
· Contribute to planning for corrective actions on operational issues.
· Assist with the physical and logical installations of T5 services.
· Maintain precise facility data, including rounds, PM work orders, and change management documentation.
