This team collaborates closely with our People Systems team to oversee and prioritize our People tech roadmap, driving a unified vision across various teams.
Role Overview
The Workday HR Systems Analyst is instrumental in configuring systems, maintaining operational integrity, and facilitating automation within Canva’s essential Workday modules—Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Employee Voice (Engagement), and Performance Management.
This position is central to Canva’s tiered People Technology model:

As a Tier 2 operator, you will oversee the configuration and testing of safe changes within the Workday platform, troubleshoot issues, and work with the People Ops and IT teams to ensure stability and continuous improvement of our systems. You will also take the lead in reviewing, redesigning, and optimizing workflows in Workday to enhance efficiency and align with Canva’s dynamic operational practices.
