Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the utmost safety of students by implementing our Safeguarding and Health and Safety guidelines in collaboration with the Camp Manager.
- Support the Welfare & Administration Manager in their role as a designated Safeguarding Staff member, attending to the needs of sick students and coordinating appropriate medical responses.
- Act as a substitute for the Welfare & Administration Manager during their weekly day off.
- Oversee and assist with the student attendance-check registers.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (Customer Services and Sales) and external contacts regarding student welfare, addressing and resolving any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in the planning and execution of student transfers, ensuring a seamless and stress-free departure for students and Group Leaders.
- Foster a respectful and positive environment for students, ensuring adherence to all ALPADIA policies and encouraging full participation in the program.
- Address any safeguarding concerns with sensitivity and escalate as necessary.
- Help train and onboard new team members.
- Assist in the creation, editing, and distribution of the Welfare Officer schedule.
- Support the Welfare & Administration Manager in supervising the Welfare Team (Welfare Officers & Night Supervisors), serving as their primary point of contact.
- Distribute the Night Supervisor log overnight to inform staff of relevant updates.
- Organize administrative tasks related to student check-in and pocket money to ensure smooth camp operations in line with ALPADIA’s policies.
- Assist in managing student accommodation and addressing requests and complaints from stakeholders.
- Oversee the collection and distribution of student pocket money.
- Help manage the camp's budget and finances.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students and staff.
- Manage camp facilities, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Welfare & Administration Manager and Camp Manager, including marketing uploads, catering assessments, and daily reporting.
