Join Our Team as a Weekend Procurement Buyer - Packaging!
At HelloFresh, we offer a unique weekend role that allows you to enjoy a 4-day work week from Friday to Monday. As our Weekend Packaging Procurement Buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our operations.
- Take charge of purchasing and inventory management for various packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring optimal product availability while adhering to cost targets, supplier contracts, and logistical frameworks.
- Oversee essential weekly operational processes including placing purchase orders (POs), tracking freight, addressing production challenges, settling invoices, analyzing data, and managing inventory and capacity levels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with HelloFresh distribution centers, third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory levels that meet production demands. Hold suppliers accountable for on-time delivery and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with HelloFresh distribution centers, carriers, and suppliers to swiftly resolve any operational or purchasing issues.
- Lead team meetings with warehouse and procurement staff to ensure preparedness for weekend operations.
- Drive cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and testing new processes that foster positive change.
- Work alongside internal stakeholders to enhance our offsite production capabilities.
- Support your colleagues to prevent any missed boxes or ingredient substitutions due to supply chain disruptions.
