AECOM is on the lookout for a Water and Wastewater Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will spearhead vital projects for water and wastewater clients, focusing primarily on the Albuquerque region while also engaging in national initiatives. Responsibilities encompass planning, designing, and developing plans for water and wastewater infrastructure, including water distribution systems, sewage collection systems, pump stations, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, and treatment facilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical leadership to design teams and personnel on a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, such as pipelines, sewage systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
- Identifying new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinating project presentations for clients and external stakeholders, and promoting our services to current and potential clients.
- Engaging in project evaluation, consultant selection, and crafting AECOM's qualifications and experience statements.
- Leading negotiations with clients and subcontractors, while drafting complex professional service agreements for senior management's review.
- Overseeing project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitoring subcontractor adherence to contractual obligations.
- Developing project work plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets, effectively communicating these to project team members, and ensuring compliance with quality, time, and budget objectives.
- May supervise technical professionals and associate project managers, including managing workloads and staffing.
- Tracking and reporting the financial status of projects to technical managers.
- Performing additional duties as required by supervision.
