Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the operational performance of our service center. Your leadership will foster a cohesive and efficient work environment while upholding safety standards and delivering top-tier service, which is vital for customer satisfaction and our operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard, train, and lead a team of Mechanics, delegating daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Foster a team-oriented environment, integrating new Mechanics seamlessly into the group.
- Provide performance evaluations and feedback to the market manager regarding team effectiveness.
- Conduct quality checks on vehicles to guarantee operational compliance and safety prior to deployment.
- Adhere to established safety protocols, ensuring that Bird riders have access to the safest vehicles.
- Document completed quality checks for vehicles and parts accurately.
- Manage vehicle operations including inspection, rotation, check-in/out processes, and more.
- Assist with inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles.
- Identify and address issues, performing minor repairs on vehicles in the field, including brake adjustments and cleaning, to maintain optimal performance.
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse environment.
- Perform in-warehouse repairs ranging from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacements.
- Maximize operational vehicle availability by efficiently completing assigned tasks.
- Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart as required.
- Undertake additional job-related tasks as assigned.
Must Haves:
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience managing and maintaining a warehouse environment with direct people management.
- Proficient understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
