About the Position. As a key player in a rapidly growing fashion enterprise, the Visual Merchandiser will craft an engaging atmosphere that encourages customers to explore their personal style. This role involves supporting and guiding the store team to deliver an inspiring and exciting customer experience, aligned with the values and brand of H&M. You will drive sales in the store and be responsible for implementing the visual identity. The Visual Merchandiser will consistently meet the expectations of customers and colleagues, while adhering to H&M’s procedures and standards.
This position reports to the store's Visual Presentation Manager (depending on volume) or to the Store Manager.
Your Daily Responsibilities*
Sales and Profitability
The Visual Merchandiser will display clothing on the sales floor and in windows in accordance with the commercial guidelines. Working alongside the department manager, the Visual Merchandiser will identify additional commercial opportunities within the store, while following H&M's brand directives. They will carry out merchandising changes based on these joint decisions.
Fashion Knowledge
- Stay updated on current fashion trends.
- Share, inspire, and train the store team on seasonal trends, upcoming campaigns, and brand standards.
Direct Customer Service
- Ensure customer service standards are met according to H&M's guidelines.
- Support the store team in providing an excellent customer experience.
Indirect Customer Service
- Maintain H&M's visual identity by executing the commercial guide and ensuring that window and in-store displays are well-coordinated.
- Create a clear connection between the windows and the main shopping area with clothing purchase suggestions.
- Ensure a high-quality daily presentation of clothing in collaboration with the store team.
- Facilitate customer flow through strategic accessory placement and navigation in compliance with H&M standards.
- Launch and maintain all campaigns and commercial activities within deadlines and H&M standards.
