As a Visual Merchandiser at H&M, you play a pivotal role in creating an inspiring and consistent customer experience by adhering to visual standards and commercial excellence. Your key responsibilities include executing visual and commercial styling in line with store guidelines and leveraging your trend insights to coach and develop the store team, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
A Day in the Life
At H&M, each day presents unique challenges and opportunities. A typical day will encompass the following responsibilities:
Customer Sales & Profit
- Enhance the overall OMNI customer experience by implementing visual and commercial strategies in accordance with guidelines.
- Represent the H&M Brand positively during customer interactions.
- Effectively manage workload in alignment with the store activation plan, adapting to business needs in collaboration with your Store Management and Area Visual Manager.
- Launch and maintain global campaigns and sales activities punctually, adhering to H&M Brand Standards.
- Ensure optimal garment care and stock levels, providing feedback on allocation to Store Management and Area teams.
- Review sales reports (KPIs), identifying visual and commercial opportunities in conjunction with the Store Management team.
- Devise actionable strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales targets and store goals.
- Adhere to all operational procedures and best practices in collaboration with the Store team.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Stay informed about the latest fashion trends, styles, products, brands, and competitors.
- Dedicate time to understanding trend theories and styling techniques to anticipate customer needs and improve the in-store shopping experience.
Team & Development
- Inspire and educate your store team about seasonal changes, fashion trends, and relevant visual and commercial information.
- Coach and develop the Store team’s visual and commercial skills to ensure high-quality product presentation.
- Support daily routines and best practices to maintain consistent visual and commercial standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
