ROLE OVERVIEW
The Visual Lead is pivotal in driving store sales and maximizing profitability through innovative visual merchandising, collaborating closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager. This role entails working hand-in-hand with the Operations Manager and the Visual Merchandising Manager to initiate tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide constructive feedback to the team to achieve optimal results while supporting overall store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage critical operational functions including shipping, receiving, merchandise processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, in-day replenishment, layout updates, and supply management.
Maintain strategic product presentation and visual merchandising by ensuring timely restocking, markdowns, and adjustments in line with corporate guidelines and in partnership with the Visual Merchandising Manager.
Efficiently plan sales floor layout changes in collaboration with the management team, managing staffing and adapting zoning and visual support to meet business needs.
Execute and uphold visual directives from planning to implementation, ensuring compliance with company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
Utilize reporting tools in partnership with management to identify business opportunities in product placement, presentation, and stock levels, making necessary adjustments.
Commercial Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee reports, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relations, technology, and facilities, ensuring their efficiency and optimization.
Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging key performance indicators to support growth strategies.
Actively engage on the sales floor to assess and respond to the needs of the business, team, and customers.
Team Leadership:
Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to team members to drive performance and engagement.
