Our department has transformed the traditional approach to technical support, ensuring that our customers leave with a positive experience while providing essential feedback to our development teams.
We are actively seeking a Virtualization Backup Engineer who speaks Italian fluently.
The Veeam Backup and Replication (VBR) solution is a robust tool that allows us to validate backup recoverability, facilitate rapid recovery, and test upgrades in a controlled environment prior to deployment. The VBR Technical Support Engineer is a trusted resource, offering technical assistance to IT professionals by leveraging extensive troubleshooting skills and product expertise to resolve complex technical challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct troubleshooting and analysis, including log file examination.
- Serve as a technical liaison for fellow IT professionals.
- Take ownership of customer issues from initiation to resolution, performing troubleshooting both on Veeam's end and with third-party components from Microsoft and VMware, verifying whether issues are known or unknown, determining if they stem from misconfigurations, addressing them as break/fix scenarios, and educating customers about the processes involved.
- Accurately document all customer interactions within SLA using our CRM tool.
What You’ll Bring
- Fluency in Italian and English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Advanced user or administrative capabilities in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025) and Windows 10/11.
