Who Will You Collaborate With?
The Vice President of Field Services and Maintenance Operations will oversee contract management and service operations for our esteemed Canadian National (CN) customer.

This pivotal role encompasses the leadership of all business operations, including the formulation and execution of service strategies, implementing changes to fulfill customer commitments, fostering growth, and creating programs that respond to both external and customer needs. Additionally, you will engage in cross-functional business initiatives such as Integrated Services, productivity milestones, and long-term service agreements.
What Does Your Typical Day Entail?
As the Vice President of Services, you will:
• Lead the financial performance and growth of all parts, repair, and field service operations related to the CN account.
• Establish and drive the services growth strategy for Service accounts.
• Identify and promote New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives to meet market demands.
• Collaborate closely with the commercial team to ensure adequate sales coverage and capitalize on opportunities to fulfill service order targets.
• Manage and support assigned Service Managers and the Technical/Material team for the CN account.
• Provide effective leadership through salary planning, performance appraisals, career coaching, and necessary disciplinary actions.
• Champion Customer Service excellence and ensure adherence to Operational Safety Policy and fieldwork regulations.
• Strive for operational excellence in integrity, controllership, and compliance.
• Utilize productivity tools to manage Purchased Labor and Material, Variable Costs, and Base costs.
• Contribute to business planning efforts (i.e., Op Plan, STRAP).
• Collaborate with the Services leadership team to analyze and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Spearhead the development and execution of reliability and material improvement strategies.
