Vice President of Business Services Domain (Microsoft D365 ERP and CRM)
Strategic Imperative
The Vice President of Business Services Domain is a pivotal executive position responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership of the Business Services Domain (BSD) talent pool within Hitachi Solutions Americas. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Americas Delivery Domain, this role oversees multiple Domain Directors who manage specialized consultant teams focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), and custom application solutions in D365.
The VP is dedicated to fostering organizational excellence in people management, workforce planning, delivery capability enhancement, and performance management across the BSD talent pool. This leader is committed to ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients while cultivating a thriving, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture. The VP plays a crucial role in supporting the overarching vision for the Americas Delivery Domain and Hitachi Solutions Americas by prioritizing team growth, managing employee engagement, facilitating training, mitigating risks, and providing ongoing mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower Domain Directors to coach, mentor, and develop team members through career development, performance management, and career path design.
- Establish role clarity and implement best practices within domain specialty areas.
- Promote a customer-centric approach among employees through coaching and feedback.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure effective recruitment and appropriate staffing levels.
- Work in partnership with the Americas Resourcing Group to support centralized staffing initiatives.
- Hold Domain Directors accountable by defining metrics for employee management, skill development, utilization, capacity, and certifications.
- Champion Hitachi's Core Values, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with GDC Managers on project assignments and staffing needs.
- Oversee the mid-year and annual performance management process within the Domain.
- Implement the performance feedback process, including employee recognition and rewards.
- Monitor team performance and report on key metrics, including utilization.
- Manage monthly Rhythm of the Business Reporting for BSD.
- Lead strategic initiatives aligned with the Domain's goals as needed.
