Your Team:
The Office of Enforcement and Neighborhood Services (OENS) spearheads our initiative to collaborate with various HPD divisions and external partners to identify distressed buildings, assess their conditions, and formulate strategies for improvement. We work closely with responsible property owners to restore buildings to solid financial standing and physical health. OENS employs a range of enforcement tools to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
This office encompasses several divisions including Data Management & Technology (DMT), Division of Neighborhood Preservation (DNP), Administration & Internal Compliance (AIC), Housing Litigation Division (HLD), Division of Code Enforcement (DCE), Emergency Operations and Enhanced Enforcement Division (EOEED), and Division of Emergency Housing Services (EHS).
Your Impact:
The Emergency Operations and Enhanced Enforcement Division (EOEED) is tasked with overseeing emergency repairs in privately owned residential properties and monitoring vendor repair activities in city-operated buildings. Our primary objective is to encourage landlords to take voluntary corrective actions, minimizing the need for direct city intervention.
Your Role:
As the Vendor Tracking Supervisor within the Environmental Hazardous Unit (EHU), reporting to the Deputy Director and Director of EHU, you will be responsible for:
Your Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of administrative staff and providing procedural guidance while coordinating timely work order implementation with selected vendors.
- Monitoring and tracking ongoing work through OMO processes until completion.
- Facilitating communication with program technical supervisors, HPD contractors, and residents to resolve discrepancies as they arise.
- Ensuring that lead and mold abatement reports, along with other relevant documentation from vendors, are archived according to HPDINFO protocols.
- Supervising and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure effective operational workflows.
