As a Utility Construction Foreman, you will oversee and lead construction crews to ensure that utility projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Your role is critical in supervising crew members, operating necessary equipment, and managing all production activities to fulfill project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Oversee labor, material, and equipment expenses to ensure adherence to project budgets.
- Crew Supervision: Provide clear direction and establish production goals for team members.
- Daily Reporting: Complete and submit daily reports, including crew time cards and production updates promptly.
- Change Management: Identify and communicate any changes in project scope to the Project Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Productivity Monitoring: Assess productivity levels, recommend corrective actions, and keep the Project Supervisor informed about project status.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure that work phases comply with the contractual scope and obligations.
- Skill Development: Pursue continuous improvement in personal and supervisory skills through training and development opportunities.
- Safety Culture: Foster a 'zero incident' safety culture and ensure compliance with safety training and protocols.
- Documentation Management: Maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the project.
