Unlimited Technology is seeking a dedicated Traveling Security Technician to join our expanding team.
The Traveling Security Technician will be responsible for the installation, servicing, testing, and inspection of a broad array of access control and IP Camera systems. As this role involves direct interaction with clients, the ideal candidate must be personable, knowledgeable, and a self-starter, capable of making informed decisions that serve both the customer and Unlimited Technology's interests. Basic troubleshooting skills are essential, and the technician will work under the guidance of various departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Service and test a variety of Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings.
- Basic understanding of door hardware installation.
- Accurately complete all job-related paperwork.
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
- Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Communicate project activities to the UTI project manager or relevant manager promptly.
- Maintain a clean driving record and report any incidents or near-misses to management immediately.
