Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations and Logistics department.
- Manage shipment scheduling, planning, updates, and tracking.
- Organize and oversee international freight shipments from inception to completion.
- Coordinate transportation logistics with overseas suppliers, domestic trucking firms, and international shipping carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery.
- Provide clients with updates on shipment schedules and status as necessary.
- Perform filing and data entry tasks.
- Collaborate with various company departments to ensure prompt shipping.
- Address customer service inquiries related to shipment discrepancies, damages, or service quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with customs/import/export regulations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed to achieve departmental or company goals.
- Re-engage existing leads to confirm interest and progress in international shipping, forwarding to sales for further assistance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and OneDrive.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with high accuracy in managing electronic and paper records.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly via telephone and email.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments to meet company objectives.
- Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies.
