The Transaction Manager serves as the primary liaison for clients, counterparties, servicers, vendors, and valuation providers, acting as the subject matter expert for internal teams. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of loan processes and connections within the organization to resolve loan defects, analyze trends, and establish a feedback mechanism with stakeholders to address challenges and propose effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pipelines, generate exception reports, and manage client rebuttals as required.
- Develop and implement a systematic and efficient approach to managing loan acquisitions and sales, including scopes and internal workflows.
- Collaborate with departmental operations teams to meet or surpass defined SLAs for transactions.
- Facilitate all communications with internal and external partners to finalize whole loan trade settlements and securitizations.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with buyers, sellers, and counterparties.
- Review and expedite requests from investors to accelerate settlements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to onboard new sellers and buyers, and liaise with legal, pricing, and delivery teams.
- Work alongside sellers to understand their requirements and produce process documentation to ensure smooth transitions, outlining scopes, timelines, and deliverable expectations.
- Utilize technology to develop a database and client reporting tools, as well as to define the scope for due diligence.
- Manage and sustain relationships with rating agencies, vendor contracts, and other business unit contractual obligations.
