Traffic Dispatcher (AM Shift)
Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Overview of the Role:
As a Traffic Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our depot by efficiently allocating and routing vehicles. Your mission is to provide exemplary service to our customers while upholding health and safety standards, as well as ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and our O Licence.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing route optimization and vehicle utilization to ensure superior service delivery.
- Managing driver schedules while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Supervising vehicle inspections, safety checks, and maintenance routines.
- Handling administrative responsibilities including payroll, timesheets, tachograph documentation, and reporting.
- Driving operational efficiency by analyzing depot data and implementing improvements.
This role extends beyond the desk! You will also engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing employee involvement and operational improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the local area.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with exemplary problem-solving skills.
- Customer-centric approach, engaging with a diverse clientele.
- Proficient in business software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in administrative roles, call handling, or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
