Health and Safety:
- Adhering to health, safety, and environmental guidelines as per company standards.
- Engaging in safety briefings and addressing any safety concerns with your supervisor.
- Exhibiting behaviors that reflect our company values and commitment to safety.
Time & Attendance Management:
- Accurately inputting employee time and attendance data into our systems.
- Validating time entries such as clock-ins, clock-outs, and leave requests against official documents.
- Identifying and flagging discrepancies or incomplete information to the Time & Attendance Assistant or Supervisor.
- Maintaining organized timekeeping records in compliance with company procedures.
- Providing timekeeping reports to supervisors and employees as needed.
- Addressing basic queries from employees regarding time entries and leave balances.
- Assisting in preparing documentation for audits or reviews.
- Conducting routine checks on time data to ensure accuracy before payroll processing.
- Escalating complex issues to the Time & Attendance Assistant or Payroll Officer.
System and Process Optimization:
- Utilizing timekeeping systems for data entry and retrieval.
- Participating in system testing or updates as directed.
- Keeping records of any manual corrections or adjustments made.
Customer Service and Team Collaboration:
- Providing administrative support to the Time & Attendance team.
- Attending team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Maintaining a professional and supportive demeanor when interacting with employees and supervisors.
Compliance Duties:
- Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding timekeeping and payroll.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of employee information.
- Assisting in compliance documentation and reporting under supervision.
- Supporting audit preparations by organizing requested records.
This position is within the People & Organisation (P&O) department at a band A5 level, reporting to the Time & Attendance Analyst.
