Position: Test Facility Technician
Reporting to: Test Facility Supervisor
We are seeking dedicated technicians who excel in outdoor environments and are open to working in various weather conditions. This role primarily involves general labor and troubleshooting tasks, with eligibility for overtime hours. Candidates with mechanical or electrical skills will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of testing equipment to ensure effective and efficient operations that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Conducting tests on equipment to verify calibrations and configurations are properly functioning.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical control systems effectively.
• Communicating effectively with customers during acceptance testing.
• Maintaining regular contact with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Preference will be given to those with experience working with concrete.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Vocational training in a related field is preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Experience with heavy equipment, forklifts, or man lifts is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to interact professionally and comfortably with all departments.
• Capability to work in environments with extreme temperatures and noise levels.
• Majority of work will be conducted outdoors, exposed to the elements.
• Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
