As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing key accounts within your designated territory, primarily centered in Illinois and Davenport, Iowa. Your primary responsibility will be to support our sales team in driving revenue growth while representing Cornerstone Building Brands' premium surface and siding solutions with professionalism and integrity. You will be tasked with prospecting, qualifying, selling, supporting, and nurturing an account base. Additionally, you will provide both pre-sales and post-sales support, execute account management functions aimed at exceeding sales quotas, and conduct customer training sessions. This role will also involve identifying potential customers, crafting proposals, and implementing company sales strategies, alongside participation in customer trade shows. Please note that this position requires significant travel, up to 75% or more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and expand existing accounts while acquiring new ones.
- Conduct thorough market research to assess existing and potential sales volume.
- Utilize effective sales techniques and resources to secure new business opportunities.
- Plan and organize daily activities to maximize territory sales potential.
- Lead and engage in sales promotions and customer education events.
- Generate leads and ensure effective follow-up.
- Adjust pricing strategies within established guidelines as necessary.
- Analyze sales results and stay informed on competitive developments.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts and conduct competitive assessments.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings and pricing strategies.
- Tailor sales presentations to meet customer needs effectively.
- Submit weekly sales reports as required.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and sales records for your territory.
- May be required to conduct presentations for the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
