Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a proactive and seasoned professional to join our team as a Territory Business Manager. In this role, you will lead the sales of our pharmaceutical products within your designated territory. Your responsibilities will include gathering vital market intelligence, conducting prescription audits, and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales objectives. You will also manage inquiries from healthcare professionals, foster enduring customer relationships, and ensure meticulous management of territory data.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities by collecting insights from stockists and chemists, and communicate findings to the Sales Business Manager (SBM) or Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Conduct Retail Chemist Prescription Audits (RCPA) in your assigned region to identify high-prescribing doctors and provide the SBM/RSM with a comprehensive list for sales forecasting.
• Participate in relevant training programs to remain current with product knowledge.
• Coordinate with the SBM/RSM to obtain sales targets and promotional budget details.
• Utilize the allocated budget to plan launch activities for doctors, camps, or Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions in your area.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to doctors to enhance product promotion.
• Submit reimbursement bills to the SBM/RSM.
• Implement marketing strategies as directed by the Product Manager.
• Collect Point of Business (POB) data from chemists and work with stockists to ensure timely product delivery.
• Monitor and track sales performance of new products with chemists to achieve sales targets.
• Address inquiries from doctors regarding both new and existing products.
• Document queries in the system for the Infogini team’s review.
• Use email feedback from Infogini to resolve doctors' queries and increase prescription rates.
• Maintain regular interactions with doctors to gauge their prescribing habits.
• Relay prescription trend data to the SBM/RSM.
• Keep track of specific customer needs and provide feedback to the Area Sales Manager (ASM), SBM/RSM, or Head Office (HO).
• Prepare lists of doctors for CME events and submit them to the SBM/RSM to cultivate strong relationships.
• Regularly update information on doctor lists, route maps, retailers, and other supply chain details.
