About the role:
The Payroll team is the backbone of our organization, ensuring that all employees are compensated accurately and punctually. We are a collaborative and detail-oriented unit, dedicated to precision—whether it’s managing complex payroll across multiple entities, staying updated with compliance regulations, or creating processes and documentation for sustainable growth. We work swiftly, support one another, and are genuinely passionate about our work.
We are currently seeking a qualified Payroll Accountant to temporarily strengthen our payroll accounting team during a pivotal time. You will be expected to contribute immediately by handling essential reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting tasks, in addition to supporting our Canadian payroll operations. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced payroll professional looking for impactful contract work with a dynamic team.
Please note, while this position is remote, we are a global organization and prefer candidates located in the eastern or central time zones to align with our operational hours.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and record payroll-related journal entries in NetSuite.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, addressing variances within 30 days.
- Accurately reconcile and record payroll-related cash transactions.
