About the job
We are seeking a specialized CAD technician in system installations, proficient in EHI/EHA modules, to strengthen our teams dedicated to electrical integration and installation in the aerospace and space sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop 3D installations of electrical systems and harnesses using EHI/EHA modules in CATIA V5 (routing, equipment placement, supports, cable paths).
- Construct and update 3D models (DMU) ensuring compliance with client installation rules.
- Create or modify supports, ducts, paths, and fixtures while adhering to space, assembly, and maintenance constraints.
- Prepare and update study documentation: 2D plans, bill of materials, diagrams, and material lists.
- Identify clashes/interferences and propose realistic technical solutions.
- Participate in model reviews with Methods, Quality, Systems, and Installation teams.
- Address aircraft environmental constraints: wet zones, critical areas, clearances, maintenance access.
- Provide clear reporting to the lead or technical manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bac+2 / Bac+3: DUT/BUT in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace, Space, Production, Design, or equivalent.
- Experience in CAD within the aerospace industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, ideally with EHI/EHA modules.
- Knowledge of electrical or mechanical installation design.
- Ability to read and understand plans, electrical diagrams, and DMUs.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards: installation rules, torque specifications, clearances, assembly constraints.
Personal Attributes:
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to collaborate across various disciplines.
- Technical curiosity and autonomy.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
