THE ROLE
As a Technical Services Engineer - Portworx, you will be an essential bridge between our customers’ ambitious cloud-native goals and the flawless performance of the Portworx® by Pure Storage platform. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the success of extensive deployments across both public and private cloud environments, addressing complex technical challenges that directly affect business continuity. By collaborating closely with our Engineering and Product teams, you will advocate for the customer perspective, driving reliability and innovation within the Kubernetes ecosystem.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Optimize Cloud-Native Resilience: Identify and remedy complex technical issues across the software stack—including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and major cloud providers—to guarantee high availability for customer application workflows.
- Drive Proactive Problem Resolution: Examine system logs and telemetry to replicate issues, collaborating with Engineering to devise long-term solutions and strategies that mitigate future outages.
- Champion Customer Success: Oversee the entire lifecycle of technical support cases, offering expert guidance during critical production phases and proofs of concept to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and platform adoption.
- Knowledge Leadership: Convert intricate technical resolutions into user-friendly documentation and internal knowledge base articles, accelerating future incident responses and empowering the global team.
