Why We Need You at Hover
Our Computer Vision (CV) team transforms raw imagery into structured data that powers the world’s most advanced property intelligence platform. To scale our operations, we are seeking a Technical Operations Lead who will be responsible for orchestrating and executing our CV/ML workflows in production, particularly where human-in-the-loop (HITL) feedback is essential.
Your role will involve close collaboration with CV engineers to implement algorithms in production settings that engage human input, tools, quality assurance layers, and feedback loops. Your ability to drive operational scalability without sacrificing quality is vital, as we manage millions of properties each year. This position is crucial for converting cutting-edge models into dependable, efficient, and scalable systems that combine automation with human expertise.
Your Contributions Will Include
- Collaborating closely with CV and ML teams to design and implement the production deployment of computer vision models that require human input, correction, or quality assurance.
- Managing the daily operations of intricate workflows that integrate automated steps with HITL components, ensuring reliability, speed, and consistent performance.
- Designing, scaling, and refining quality control systems for CV outputs, utilizing both automation and human validators.
- Driving operational feedback loops by analyzing performance data, identifying failure patterns, and working with engineering to inform model enhancements or workflow adjustments.
- Acting as a liaison between CV engineering and our operations/QA teams, translating technical model behavior into actionable operational strategies.
- Monitoring pipeline health, troubleshooting breakdowns, and facilitating resolutions across human and machine processes.
