Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager for the UK & Ireland plays a pivotal role in spearheading recruitment efforts for our portfolio companies in the region. This position blends hands-on recruiting with advisory and change management, particularly in organizations experiencing early post-merger integration, evolving hiring practices, or traditional frameworks.
You will navigate diverse hiring environments, from established legacy firms to dynamic software companies scaling rapidly. To thrive in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to instill clarity, structure, and consistency in fast-paced or unclear situations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Delivery
Oversee the full recruitment cycle for UK & Ireland portfolio companies across technical, commercial, operational, and leadership roles.
Develop customized recruitment strategies that align with each company’s unique stage of growth, culture, and hiring context.
Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer processes through various formats including phone, video, and in-person meetings.
Utilize AI-driven tools (like sourcing agents, interview notetakers, and workflow automation) to enhance recruitment speed, accuracy, and pipeline quality.
Proactively curate and sustain talent pools within platforms such as Ashby and LinkedIn, with a focus on SaaS talent.
Regularly assess pipeline metrics, time-to-hire, conversion rates, and sourcing effectiveness to inform strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
