Join our dynamic team as a Tailor/Seamstress, where your expertise will ensure the impeccable maintenance of all linens, uniforms, and fabrics used throughout our hotel. This role is vital in upholding the high standards of AccorHotels and providing our guests and staff with top-quality service.
Efficiently operate the hotel tailoring services for uniforms, linens, curtains, carpets, upholstery, cushions, and guest laundry.
Stay informed on the latest product knowledge and hotel-related activities to enhance guest experiences.
Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
Uphold grooming and hygiene standards, ensuring personal grooming and uniform presentation meet hotel expectations.
Follow the guidelines set forth in the Heartiest Handbook, ensuring all tasks align with hotel procedures and specifications.
Perform stitching for linens across various hotel departments, including the Restaurant and Gymnasium.
Collect and manage tones of linen and uniforms for housekeeping and other departments.
Maintain detailed records of all stitching operations for uniforms and linens.
Manage inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and submit requests for additional supplies as needed.
Perform minor repairs on linens and uniforms as required.
Conduct random quality checks of linens and uniforms to ensure they meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
Operate sewing machines and other equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and hotel procedures.
Report maintenance needs for the tailor room and follow up with the Maintenance Department to ensure timely resolution.
Ensure the daily maintenance of all equipment, including proper operation and shutdown procedures.
Issue and record uniforms and linens for staff members accurately.
Maintain an organized and tidy tailor room and adjacent storage areas at all times.
Punctually and courteously interact with guests and colleagues, embodying the spirit of hospitality.
