Position Title: Tactical Radio Subject Matter Expert (TACRAD)

Required Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years of direct experience with Tactical Radio (TACRAD).
Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Program Manager or a designated representative. Your duties encompass both remote and on-site support for the configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of Tactical Radio (TACRAD) and Terrestrial High-Capacity Communications (THC2) systems. This support is designed for the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) during deployments, in garrison, and while preparing for or participating in major exercises and contingency operations both domestically (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS).
You will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments and personnel at Government Customer sites. Travel may be required at the request of the Government Customer, with an expected travel rate of up to 25%.

- Deliver expert knowledge on Tactical Radios (TACRAD).
- Provide technical support for global command, control, computer, communications, and intelligence (C4I) systems to the operating forces of the United States Marine Corps, allied nations, and program offices, ensuring effective utilization of C4I systems across military operations.
- Offer C4I systems expertise including troubleshooting, guidance, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration management for fielded Marine Corps C4I systems.
- Work collaboratively within a team comprising military, government civilians, and contractors. Utilize technical expertise in at least two systems, including but not limited to VSAT/SATCOM, NOTM, COC, CAC2S, AFATDS, TBMCS, JBC-P, MCH, MARCIMS, JADOCS, AFATDS, TCS, MMIM, FTAS, IDS-MC, URN, JTCW, TVSS, THSv2, C2PC, SPRS, tactical radios, and tactical networks.
- Configure, program, operate, troubleshoot, and isolate faults in the AN/MRC-142, WPPL-T, AN/TRC-170, and AN/TRC-238 (LRS).
- Support THC2 Systems during testing and evaluation events.
- Perform spectrum analysis.
- Interface with FMF personnel and US Government employees to provide break/fix support for USMC tactical networks in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
- Conduct research using available information resources including technical manuals, operating guides, fleet advisory messages (FAMs), and internal documentation.
